I like the slow pace. Chilli could come out and show us everything and then what would we learn.
It is good that we are not spoonfed. Chilli is teaching us to think for ourselves. I have developed my own animated sprite, using a different technique to what chilli showed me, but if he hadn't taught me the basics first I would not have been able to do it.
None of the videos have showed us how to load pngs and yet I have managed to learn how to do that with a bit of Chilli's code, and tutorials 20 and 21 helped.
I have been using many languages over the years and I have programmed in C++, but I have forgotten a lot, and never programmed directx like this. So I have watched every tutorial from the beginning, and I have learned so much.
Will be great when I finally work out how to get alpha to work though LOL.
