Lesson 1

Post by PutPixel255 » October 30th, 2016, 8:22 pm

Finally getting back into the beginner series. It seems when I intentionally increased my y value far exceeding the bounds the program won't break normally and I have to close Visual Studio to regain control.

Is anybody else get the fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'C:\Users\r\Desktop\Chili Framework 2016\Release\Engine.exe.

Hey there,

That error usually happens when you run the program (F5) then try to rebuild the solution (F7) without closing the game executable.

You need to close the game every single time you build.

Let me know if that helps!

Well in the meantime MS did a boatload of upgrades about 4 hours worth and now it works. So , whatever. It's a mystery my friend , don't question it.
