Need more details, What's the error message say? Have you read the sticky'd threads on the main page of the forum to see it your problem has been addressed? Are you using Visual Studio? Which version? Have you installed all service packs and updates for the operating system and IDE (IDE would be Visual Studio)?

Hey I know what's your problem. I had the same one. And after knowing what I did wrong, I felt I was the stupidest being on this Planet! Anyways do revert back to the first video and note that Chilli explicitly said to install Direct X SDK before building anything whatsoever. Try it out and I'm sure you will be able to build it and get that much desired ''Black Screen''.
