The calculations are somewhat confusing to me too.

If there are steps then look at the next steps code and try to find the problem. I am trying to figure out some things in the code that I have never seen.

Did you copy the code from somewhere of did you write this yourself?

I noticed a few things in your code the first thing is that in your DXHarness.cpp I can't find the file d3dx9.h. I think it should be d3d9.h. Can you post all of your code it is hard to tell the problem from only one file.

You probably have a program that uses directx open so it won't install correctly because another program is using files that need to be changed or modified. close the program(s) to finish installing directx.

I got near the end of lesson 21. It built fine. When I run it about one or two seconds later it says " Unhandled exception at 0x00b81b24 in Chili DirectX Framework.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x303640f0. " It also says that x < 800 but I can't find what is being drawn out side...

I am not sure what specks I have but the poo game runs fast even though I have a lot of shit running on my computer. Sometimes it lags when it opens but the poo game with 60,000 poos is slow. The computer I am using is about 6 years old.
