In his latest video, Chili motivated us to make journals on the forum, so here's mine, in chronological order.
I'll probably put in spoilers to keep the post nice and organized
I also still have a lot of mathematics stuff I did before I had found Chili's videos.
Spoiler:
I only really made calculators, and could only use the command prompt. Here are some names I had for them, which make it obvious enough what that program did.
Adder
Calculator V1
Factorial Creator
Pong
Spoiler:
This is my first game, Pong. Description
Pong is a table tennis sports game featuring simple two-dimensional graphics.
Features:
The classic Pong with Singleplayer featuring AI and Multiplayer modes with it.
History:
I made it after Chili's sixth episode of the beginner series, to try out what I'd learnt. It took me about 3 days, a total of about 5 hours, because I had a horrible bug I couldn't squash. https://github.com/Zedtho/Pong
Salta
Spoiler:
This is my second game, Salta. Description
Basically, in this game, you have to jump over the blocks that come towards you.
History:
Its name, (which undoubtedly is not creative at all) means "Jump!" in latin, because I always makeup names from latin. I didn't have any bugs to squash with this one, which is why it only took me about 3 hours to make. If I recall correctly I made it after episode 11. https://github.com/Zedtho/Salta
Simon Says
Spoiler:
Description
Simon says is a Memory game, where one has to repeat the patterns displayed by the game. Every round it gets harder, because the game adds one additional step every time.
History: I made this game after seeing the idea on a website. I made 2, rather chaotic and not object-oriented versions before I made the final version. It took me a while, but I think it was worth it. https://github.com/Zedtho/Simon-Says
Coming hopefully soon: A basic PVP game
Spoiler:
Arkhayla, one of the developers of Terraria, challenged me to make a simple PVP game that includes the PVP elements of the farming game Stardew Valley because I ridiculed its PVP system for being simple.
Im screwed.
End-Goal because I need one
Spoiler:
An openworld 3-dimensional game, in the likes of The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Cubeworld
And an ideas section for future things: (You can snag it if you want, unless it's a huge project idea, then I would be slightly mad, but nobody can stop you anyways )
Fun! I'll follow this.
Will check out your games a bit later.
For adding pics there's an img button which generates
img /img (inside of square brackets)
and you just put the link to your image between those.
You can upload your images to some site like imgur
