Physics Engine Materials Required

Post by maxon887 » April 28th, 2017, 3:45 pm

Hello Chili or anybody else
You mentioned that you wrote some sort of physics engine(things like collisions, frictions, contacs). I'm looking for materials for that shit. Can you please share sources you have been using? I interested in writing physics engine, especially for 3D.

Think Bullet http://bulletphysics.org/ is a 3d physics library you can study and look at ?. I haven't used it or downloaded it but i have played around in box2d.
It may help you along the way

Most of the stuff I teach here is basic concepts, and I didn't really refer to any materials to derive them, just basic knowledge of geometry and highschool level physics.

If you want some more in-depth materials, maybe look at the stuff that cyborg posted, or take a look at an open source solver library like box2d or bullet.
