Re: Noob learns to code in 3 months

Can't believe it's been like 2 months since I started already and 1.5 months since I started the spaceballs project. 2 more months left until the last day to apply for the game programming school.
Just applied for 15 other university programs as back up in case I do not get accepted to that school.
(not sure if I'm translating all of these correctly)
1. Computer science, 3 years on campus.
This one I'd be happy with as second choice. would have to travel 130km to get to school which would be a bit annoying but doable
2.
IT security and softwaretesting, 3 years on campus.
Not as excited about this one as I think it has a bit less to do with what I'd like to do for a job afterwards (programming) but it lists programmer as one of the possible jobs after graduation and some of the courses looks interesting. Also the school is nearby
3
Applied system science, 3 years on campus.
Campus is nearby which is good
4
Computer game development, 3 years on campus.
This one would probably be fun but would have to travel something like 250km to get to school :p
5
Computer science, 3 years on campus
Same deal here, campus is 250km away
6
Software engineering, 3 years distance based.
This one looks pretty interesting, it's distance based though so doing the whole thing online from home will probably a challenge.
7
Applied system science, 3 years distance based
8
applied system science, 3 years on campus 165km away
9
applied system science, 3 years on campus 170km away
10
developing and managing software systems, 3 years distance based
11
Web programmer, 2 years distance based.
Bit less interested in html, javascript etc but would be better than nothing.
12
developing e-services
actually not excited at all about this one so might delete it
13
Web programming, 2 years distance based
14
mathematician, 3 years on campus 165km away
threw this one in there as a curve ball
15
data and applied system science, 3 years on campus 250km away
Would've liked to apply for more computer science but I don't really have the grades needed for most of them.
If I take another 5 week math course I'd be eligible to apply for one more of them. For the other ones I'd also need a couple physics courses and a chemistry course.
Not sure if I'll have the energy for another math course just to slightly increase the chances of me getting accepted to a program that would be my second choice
