If I wanna fuck around and make some games between the episodes, how do I make a new project with the chili framework?

You have the goddamn right approach Yumtard, glad to have you on the forum. I would recommend, if you haven't already, doing up to T8 of beginner before attempting your first game. You learn some important stuff along the way (particularly debugging skills).
