Musi's post did make it clearer, and the site he suggested is quite good, I shall be sure to top up my knowledge on maths..

I should be able to do it now, thanks guys.

EDIT: It works, finally, now I've done it, I feel stupid for not working it from what LuX originally said..
If I can get the effort into me to sit back down and finish fixing bugs in Angry Square, Then I shall get back to work on it.

It's being worked on, with every bug I fix I find more, I'll be working on it later, but getting the bullet idea to work is kinda harsh to the frame rate.. I might be doing something wrong..
The sprites are still causing issues, but I'm sure with some time, patience and effort, I shall have it fixed. :mrgreen:

If its possible, I might try release a quick update to it later, but nothing big just yet.. :cry:
But I'm glad you like it, thought it'd be to simple to have much interest. :lol:

That's true but also the learning part of it, I'm now working on updating the enemy's movement to similar as how I want bullets to be, I'm yet to fix this strange bug when the player hits the wall, but I will have that fixed soon as well..

But trying to keep the game fun and balanced as wall is fairly hard, at times it can get to easy, and really unbalanced.. :lol:

Anyway, back to fixing bugs, I'm aiming for update tonight.

EDIT: Enemy escaping the screen and causing a crash is fixed!
It was caused by the boundary check being after the velocity update, must keep that one in mind afterwards, it took me a few days to figure out something so simple..

I always over look the simple solutions.. :lol:

EDIT: Okay, the new version is up, that bug is 100% fixed, I had some clamping problems for some reason on the x axis after I fixed it.. 8-) S'all good now though.

Hey mate, nice update!
Screenclamping seems to be fixed. Apple spawns on spikes seem to be fixed.
But after playing a while, the application crashed.

Around 569 score, 4 spikes... no idea what causes it.

Ahh that is very odd, It plays fine in debug..

I'll take a quick look, it might have to hang about till tomorrow.. :(

Once it's fixed ill update the main post. ;)

EDIT 2: Nothing to do with spikes, or score, did it happen when you picked up a apple?
Just tried re creating it, gonna try again see if the results are similar, I think I can find the problem soon, hopefully..

EDIT 3: It's the pixel escaping the screen, problem is, where.. :roll:

EDIT 4: Okay, its fixed, I believe, It hasn't happened since I messed with stuff so fingers crossed..

Yea it was when I picked up an apple... might be an apple (or part of it) spawning outside of screen yea? :)

I'll try the game a little later again, kinda into the tutorial videos myself now. :)

It was when the apple spawned at the top left, A pixel of the leaf escaped the screen, It shouldn't happen again, I have stopped the apples spawning so close to the edges.

Thanks for pointing that out, Else I wouldn't of noticed it. ;)
