Resource file Help

Hi,

Earlier I was having VC++ 2010 Express edition, which didn't allow me to add resource.
But now I've installed VS 2012 ultimate edition. And I am facing problems in creating resource file.

I am unable to create resource file.
I would be very thankful if someone could help me explaining, How resource works and how to create and load it in the project.

Hi sumit,

I use a piece of software called XN Resource editor. It is pretty good. As for loading in resources into the program it is a bit complicated and I can help if you get stuck, as Chilli helped me. I use GDI.

So far I can load pngs from resource, but I haven't got sound to work yet.
