couldn't figure out lesson 9 homework should i quit?

Hi I'm new to C++ thank you chilli for the great tutorials.

i couldn't even make a box using the while loop.

its a handfull alright but its worth it i had trouble aswell with that one i just watched the nxt tute to see how chili did it then copied the notes for future reference allthough its prob gunna be hard for u to read,
here are my notes btw im only on lesson 11 and im stuck now too we all get stuck

If this is something you really want to learn, never quit. Keep at it, if you can't figure it out right then move onto something else, and come back to it later. Just be sure to practice coding. Come up with something on your own and apply the things that you learn in the tutorials, trust me that's best way to really understand how this stuff works, Chili teaches, you practice.

Yeah, it's always better if you can solve this stuff on your own. You will get 100x more out of the experience than if you just watch me solve it for you. It's about more than just learning the particular technique or algorithm in question. It's about learning how to approach, analyse, and solve problems on your own. If it seems hopeless than just step back, take a couple of days or a week off, and then pick it up again fresh. You might come up with a new approach you couldn't conceive of before.
