Chili, I was trying to learn directx on rastertek like Lux recommended, but on lesson 3, I got stuck because d3dx11math is deprecated, and also I didn't like it because it was too much information to absorb in one go! I really want to learn Directx and be able to make the framework "on my own" just because... So are there any tutorials that teach you little detail of directx? Or are all such tutorials stuff you pretty much have to understand all at once? Man, learning the fundamentals of C++ was nothing compared to learning Directx from a tutorial.
Is this normal or am I just stupid?

Pardon me for my rant. I was just real frustrated with learning DirectX and those little problems are quite irritating. I found another tutorial at toymaker.info. I feel that its considerably better than the rastertek tutorials.

I finally get windows programming now! But I still have trouble finding an "up-to-date" Dx tutorial that I can grasp. I hope you jump into explaining the DXAPI ASAP.
